It consists of a corrugated outer tube enclosing several tightly bonded inner tubes. The outer tube has a spiral shape, which enhances ring stiffness-its compressive strength is 8 to 10 times higher than that of straight-walled tubes. The number of inner tubes typically ranges from 3 to 8, and they can be made of low-friction ribbed tubes or silicon-core tubes, effectively resisting the air pressure during cable blowing.
